Description
This is a 2 metre length of surface-mounted 1-phase lighting track in black. It is the rail that carries a run of track lights across a ceiling. It has a slim, straight profile with squared edges, 34mm wide and 19.5mm high, so it sits close to the ceiling and reads as a fine dark line rather than a bulky fitting. What you receive is the track itself. Track lights are not included, which leaves the number and style of heads entirely your choice. It works with the range's 1-phase lighting track, sold separately. The maker gives no IP rating for it, so we would not place it anywhere damp or outdoors.
Surface mounting means the track fixes directly onto the ceiling, with no channel to cut into plaster. That makes it a good answer for concrete, older or already decorated ceilings. Two metres is a useful span over a kitchen island, a run of cupboards, a dining table or a long hallway. From that one line you can aim several heads at different things: a picture, a counter, a bookshelf. The black finish suits dark ceilings and industrial interiors, and against a white ceiling it becomes a deliberate graphic line.
The track is rated for 120 to 240 volts AC, and the maker gives 50 or 60 hertz, so it suits the UK mains supply. Being 1-phase, it carries a single circuit, so all the heads on it come on and go off together. If you want separate groups of light, plan separate runs. It weighs 0.83KG, which is light for something two metres long. A mains product like this is installed by a qualified electrician.

Frequently Asked
Are track lights included with this track?
No. Track lights are not included: you receive the 2 metre black track itself and choose the heads separately.
How big is the Brillia track?
It is 2 metres long, 34mm wide and 19.5mm high, a slim profile that sits close to the ceiling.
Does this track need a channel cut into the ceiling?
No. This is a surface-mounted track, so it fixes directly onto the ceiling without any channel cut into the plaster.
What voltage does the track run on?
It is rated for 120 to 240 volts AC at 50 or 60 hertz, which suits the UK mains supply.
Can heads on the track be switched separately?
As a 1-phase track it carries a single circuit, so all the heads on it switch together. For separate groups of light, plan separate runs.
What does the track weigh?
The track weighs 0.83KG, which is light for a two metre length of black rail with a slim profile.
