Description

The Briller is a 31cm small pendant light built from a dense cluster of clear spheres arranged around a central spherical core, suspended on a slim cable from a discreet ceiling fixing. An integrated 20W LED at 3000K sits at the centre, with light passing through and refracting across the surrounding spheres to scatter points of warm light onto nearby surfaces.

The compact 31cm diameter and 20cm height make the Briller a sensible choice for spaces where a full-size cluster pendant would feel oversized. It suits hallways, smaller kitchen islands, breakfast bars, bedside positions in pairs, and entryways with standard ceiling heights. The 150cm cable allows the drop to be adjusted on installation to sit at the correct height for the room, whether that's low over a worktop or higher in a circulation space.

The shade combines clear plastic spheres with a metal internal structure that holds the cluster shape and supports the LED module. Each sphere reflects its neighbours when lit, producing layered highlights rather than a single point source, while the clear material reads almost as floating bubbles against the ceiling when unlit. The integrated LED removes the need to source and replace bulbs, and the warm 3000K colour temperature pairs comfortably with both painted and timber finishes.

Does the Briller come with the bulb?

Yes. The Briller uses an integrated 20W LED at 3000K, so there's no separate bulb to buy or replace. The LED is built into the central module of the fitting.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

The shade itself is 20cm high and the supplied cable is 150cm, which can be shortened on installation. For ceiling heights of 2.3m and above the pendant fits comfortably; in lower rooms the cable can be cut down to suit.

Can the spheres be cleaned?

Yes. Switch off the power at the mains and allow the fitting to cool, then dust the spheres with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks use a barely-damp cloth with water only — avoid sprays, polishes or solvents that can mark the plastic.

Will it work over a kitchen island or breakfast bar?

The 31cm diameter suits a single-pendant position over a breakfast bar or compact island. For longer islands of 1.5m or more, a cluster of two or three Brillers spaced evenly along the run usually balances the proportions better than a single small pendant.
