The Brenley is a classic single table lamp with plated metalwork and a fabric shade lined with a reflective metallic inner, so a single bulb gives a soft, bright glow. It stands 447mm tall with a 250mm diameter shade, a versatile size for a bedside table, console or side table. It takes one E14 bulb up to 7W and comes on a 1.5 metre black flex with an inline on/off switch, keeping everyday use simple and close to hand.

This lamp suits living rooms, bedrooms and hallways in traditional, classic and modern homes, and it looks well either side of a bed or on a console in a lounge. The choice of finishes lets it lean warm and bright or soft and neutral, so it can anchor a scheme or blend into it. Its moderate height works nicely as a reading light, and a matching pair brings a balanced, considered feel to a sideboard or a pair of bedside tables.

You can choose antique brass metalwork with a vintage white shade and gold metallic inner, or vintage brass metalwork with a natural linen shade and matching cotton inner. It is wired as a Class 2 double insulated fitting, needing no earth, and it is rated IP20 for dry indoor use. Dust the shade with a soft brush and wipe the metalwork with a soft, dry cloth.
