Brenley 8 Light Pendant - Vintage Brass

The Brenley eight light pendant is the largest version of this design, gathering eight lamps beneath a single large natural linen fabric shade on vintage brass plated metalwork. The linen shade has a matching coloured cotton inner, so the light glows warmly through the fabric while the brass frame anchors it. The shade measures 700mm across, and the fitting weighs around 3.7kg, carrying eight E14 lamp holders for a generous light.

With eight lamps and a wide shade, this pendant suits a large dining room, an open plan space or a hallway with height, where it can act as a real centrepiece. The natural linen and vintage brass reads classic yet modern, so it works across period and contemporary schemes, and the single large shade keeps the look clean. It is dimmable, so you can run it bright for entertaining or bring it low for a quieter evening. Smaller three and six light versions are available in the same range.

The aged brass chain and clear cable adjust the drop between 550 and 1745mm at installation. It is a Class 1 earthed fitting, so it needs an earth connection and is best installed by a qualified electrician, while its IP20 rating keeps it to dry indoor rooms. It takes eight E14 lamps of up to 6W each. Dust the linen shade gently with a soft brush and keep it dry, switching off at the wall first. The aged brass chain and clear cable run to around 1.5 metres, so the wide shade can hang well in a taller room.
