Description
The Bramwell is a three light semi-flush ceiling light that pairs an aged brass frame with linen shades and oak detailing, sitting close to the ceiling on a wide circular plate. It measures 61cm across with a 46cm projection, giving it a generous scale overhead. Each of the three arms takes an E14 lamp rated up to 7W, and the mix of oak, wood, brass and linen gives it a softer, more textured look than an all metal or glass fitting.
With a wide spread and three lamps, the Bramwell suits larger rooms and higher ceilings well, open plan living areas, larger bedrooms or a dining room where you want a good spread of ambient light rather than one central pool. The linen shades soften the light coming through, so the glow is gentle rather than sharp, and the oak and brass combination brings a warm, natural feel that suits a relaxed, traditional or country style room.
We finish the metalwork in aged brass and pair it with natural oak and linen, a combination that sits happily with warm neutrals, wood furniture and other natural materials. Dust the linen shades gently and wipe the brass and oak with a soft, dry cloth, keeping the whole fitting away from damp or steam. It takes three E14 lamps, not included, and warm white LED lamps suit the softer character of the linen shades well. It is dimmable with compatible lamps and a dimmer switch, and it sits within our wider Bramwell range if you want to echo the look elsewhere in the home.

Frequently Asked
What size room does the Bramwell suit?
At 61cm across, it suits larger rooms and higher ceilings well, open plan living areas, bigger bedrooms or a dining room wanting a good spread of ambient light.
How far does it hang from the ceiling?
It projects 46cm from the ceiling, giving the linen shades and oak detailing enough depth to stand out as a feature overhead.
What are the shades made from?
The shades are linen, paired with oak detailing and an aged brass frame, which softens the light and gives a more textured look than glass alone.
What bulbs does it take, and are they included?
It takes three E14 lamps rated up to 7W each, which are not included. Warm white E14 LED lamps suit the softer character of the linen shades well.
Is the Bramwell suitable for a bathroom?
No, it is rated IP20 for dry rooms, so it is best suited to living spaces and bedrooms rather than a bathroom.
How do I clean the linen shades?
Dust the linen gently and avoid water or damp cloths on the fabric. Wipe the brass and oak with a soft, dry cloth instead.
