Bramleigh Table Lamp - Nickel & White

The Bramleigh is a designer-style table lamp built on a large clear glass ellipsoid base, topped with a tapered cylinder shade. The slim base is one of its best features, narrow enough to fit neatly on a console table where a wider lamp would not. It stands 595mm tall with a 350mm shade and takes a single E27 bulb up to 60W. An inline on/off switch on a 1.5 metre flex keeps control simple and close to hand.

This lamp suits living rooms, hallways and bedrooms where you want some height and a refined, glassy look. The clear base almost disappears against a wall or window, so the shade and the light it casts do the talking, which makes it a good pick for a console behind a sofa or a narrow side table. It works well in modern and classic rooms and pairs neatly on either side of a console or bed for a balanced, considered arrangement.

You can choose polished nickel metalwork with a white linen-mix shade, or antique brass metalwork with a black faux suede shade, so the lamp can read cool and light or warm and moody. It is wired as a Class 2 double insulated fitting, so no earth is needed, and it is rated IP20 for dry indoor use. Dust the shade with a soft brush and wipe the glass base with a soft, dry cloth.
