The Bracewell is a compact, dual-purpose table lamp that teams brushed metalwork with a matt opal glass shade. It is operated by a three-stage touch dimmer, and it adds a genuinely useful feature in a discreet USB port, so it can charge a phone or tablet while it lights the room. Standing just 240mm tall with a 100mm diameter, it takes a single E14 bulb up to 40W and is happy with dimmable LED lamps. It comes on a 1.5 metre black flex and plug.

Its small size makes it ideal for a bedside table, where the touch dimmer and USB port are within easy reach at night, but it works equally well on a desk, a shelf or a console. The opal glass shade spreads a soft, even light that is easy on the eye, so it suits reading and relaxing alike.
