Description

The Boutique is a 400mm tall rectangular LED wall light with a matt black metal frame and an integrated 21W warm white LED strip running the full height of the fitting. The LED casts 1130lm at 3000K through a diffuser panel inside the frame, creating a soft ambient wash on the wall behind and to the sides of the fitting rather than a direct downward beam.

Designed for hallways, living room accent walls, and bedroom feature walls where ambient rather than task lighting is needed, the Boutique sits 46mm proud of the wall and measures 135mm wide. The narrow profile suits walls adjacent to doorways and in alcoves where a wider fitting would intrude on circulation space. The 120° beam angle spreads light across approximately 800mm of wall at typical viewing distance, so multiple Boutique fittings can be spaced along a corridor or gallery wall to create continuous illumination.

The matt black finish absorbs reflections during daylight and recedes visually when the light is off, allowing the fitting to blend into dark walls or provide graphic contrast on white and pale-painted surfaces. The rectangular geometry pairs with both contemporary interiors and classical spaces where linear wall sconces are preferred over curved or period-style fittings. At 0.75kg the Boutique mounts directly to plasterboard with appropriate fixings or onto masonry with standard wall plugs and screws.

Is the Boutique dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is rated at 21W fixed output and is not compatible with dimmer switches. The specification table confirms the fitting as non-dimmable.

What type of light does it produce?

The LED emits warm white light at 3000K with a 120° beam angle, creating ambient wash lighting on the wall rather than a focused beam. The 1130lm output is comparable to a traditional 75W incandescent bulb.

Can it be fitted to plasterboard?

Yes. At 0.75kg the Boutique can be mounted to plasterboard using appropriate cavity fixings rated for the weight. On masonry walls standard wall plugs and screws are sufficient.

What spacing is recommended for multiple fittings?

The 120° beam spreads light across approximately 800mm of wall at typical viewing distance. For continuous corridor or gallery wall lighting, space Boutique fittings 600-800mm apart centre-to-centre to avoid dark gaps between the pools of light.
