Description

The Boutique is a 400mm square LED wall light built from overlapping geometric frames in matt black metal, creating a layered diamond-on-square form that projects 75mm from the wall. An integrated 25W LED inside the frames casts 1370 lumens of warm 3000K light outward in a 120° beam, producing a halo effect around the fixture rather than direct downlight or uplight.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, living rooms and staircases where ambient light is needed without a ceiling fitting, the Boutique works as a focal wall accent or in symmetrical pairs flanking doorways or artwork. The 400mm width suits wall spaces that can accommodate a substantial fitting without overwhelming the room, typically on walls 2.4m or wider. The matt black finish contrasts sharply against lighter-painted walls and integrates into darker schemes without standing out from the surface.

The overlapping frame geometry means the light interacts with the wall surface and the frame edges, creating subtle shadow lines that shift depending on viewing angle. The 3000K colour temperature gives a warm white output closer to incandescent than cool white, suitable for residential settings where warmer light is preferred over clinical brightness. No. The integrated LED is rated at 25W non-dimmable. Connecting it to a dimmer circuit may cause flicker or damage to the LED driver.

What wall fixing is required?

The fitting weighs 1.28kg and requires fixing into a solid substrate. On plasterboard walls, fix into timber studs or use cavity fixings rated for at least 2kg load. The fitting includes a rear mounting plate with multiple fixing points.

Does it cast light upward and downward or only as a halo?

The LED casts light outward from the frame in a 120° beam, creating a halo effect around the fixture on the wall. There is minimal direct uplight or downlight — the light spreads around the geometric frame rather than projecting strongly in any single direction.

Can it be used outdoors?

No. The Boutique carries no IP rating and is designed for dry indoor use only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor walls or any location exposed to moisture.
