Description

The Boutique is a 1m tall rectangular LED wall light built around a matt black metal frame with an integrated 50W LED strip that casts 2740lm of 3000K warm white light in a halo around the frame's perimeter. The frame itself is 250mm wide and projects 70mm from the wall, with the LED positioned behind the face so the light radiates outward at 120° rather than directly into the room.

Designed for high-ceilinged hallways, stairwells, double-height living rooms and feature walls where vertical scale is needed, the 1m height gives the Boutique presence without width. The matt black finish absorbs ambient light during the day and frames the warm LED glow at night, making the rectangular outline itself the visible element when the light is switched on. The fitting mounts directly to a standard UK wall box and draws 50W on 230V mains.

The geometric frame is welded steel finished in a low-sheen matt black powder coat that resists fingerprints and dust build-up. At 2.4kg the fitting requires secure fixing to masonry or studwork rather than plasterboard alone. The 2740lm output is comparable to a 150-200W halogen equivalent, providing functional ambient light rather than just decorative accent, which makes the Boutique suitable as primary lighting in narrow hallways or as supplementary lighting in larger rooms.

The LED is not dimmable and the 3000K colour temperature is fixed at manufacture, so the Boutique works best in spaces where warm white ambient light is the goal rather than variable mood lighting. The Mantra 3-year warranty covers the LED module and driver as well as the frame.

No. The integrated LED runs at a fixed output of 2740lm on 230V mains and is not compatible with dimmer switches.

What mounting surface is needed?

The 2.4kg weight requires fixing to masonry, brick, blockwork or studwork with appropriate wall plugs or toggle fixings. Plasterboard alone will not safely support the fitting.

Where does the light go?

The LED is positioned behind the face of the frame, so light radiates outward in a halo around the rectangular perimeter at 120° rather than projecting straight out into the room. This creates an ambient wash on the wall and surrounding area.
