Description

The Bora is a 27cm oval LED wall light with a flush-mounted matt white acrylic diffuser, housing an integrated 16W LED that delivers 1350 lumens at 3000K. The oval profile measures 270mm at its longest axis with a 40mm projection from the wall, creating a low-profile fitting that sits almost flush against the mounting surface.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways and living rooms where ceiling mounting is impractical or where wall-washing light is preferred, the Bora provides ambient rather than task illumination. The 120° beam angle spreads light broadly across the wall surface and into the room, softening shadows and providing a diffused glow rather than a directed spot. The fitting pairs well with modern, Scandinavian and minimalist interiors where clean lines and neutral colour palettes dominate.

The matt white acrylic diffuser hides the LED module completely when the light is off, appearing as a smooth oval panel against the wall. When lit, the 3000K warm white LED produces a soft glow that avoids the clinical tone of cooler LEDs, making the Bora suitable for residential applications where warmth and comfort are priorities. The fitting weighs 1.32kg and requires a standard wall back box or mounting point capable of supporting the weight securely. The Bora is not dimmable and operates on mains voltage between 100-240V, making it compatible with UK and international installations.

The Bora is made in Spain, with a 3-year warranty against manufacturing defects. The integrated LED is rated for approximately 30,000 hours of operation, equivalent to around 10 years of typical residential use at 8 hours per day.

The fitting is designed for dry indoor use.

Frequently Asked

Is the Bora dimmable?

No. The integrated 16W LED is not compatible with dimmer switches. The light operates at full brightness when switched on.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. It has no stated IP rating, so it is for dry rooms only.

How is it mounted?

The Bora mounts directly to a wall via a back plate that requires secure fixing to the wall surface or a suitable back box. The 1.32kg weight needs two or more screws into solid wall or plasterboard plugs rated for the load.

What size room does it suit?

At 1350 lumens, the Bora provides ambient light for rooms up to approximately 10-12 square metres when used as a single fitting. Larger rooms or spaces requiring higher light levels benefit from multiple fittings spaced along a wall or positioned at opposite ends of the room.
