Description

The Bora is an 18cm square LED wall light with an integrated 12W 3000K LED delivering 1080 lumens through a matt white polycarbonate face. The fitting projects 40mm from the wall, sitting flush enough to avoid head strikes in narrow hallways while providing a 120° beam spread that casts wide wash lighting across walls and ceilings.

Designed for ambient rather than task lighting, the Bora suits hallways, landings, bedrooms and living rooms where general background light is needed without glare. The square geometry allows multiple units to be grouped in symmetrical patterns along corridor walls or stair runs, creating rhythm without needing ceiling downlights. The 40mm profile keeps the fitting tight to the wall, reducing the risk of the lamp being knocked or casting hard shadows in narrow spaces.

The matt white powder-coated metal body hides fingerprints and diffuses the LED evenly, so there are no visible hot spots or striations when the lamp is lit. The 3000K colour temperature produces a warm neutral white that sits comfortably in both cooler grey schemes and warmer cream or beige interiors. The non-dimmable driver simplifies wiring to a standard switched circuit without needing trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmer compatibility checks.

Is the Bora dimmable?

No. The integrated 12W LED uses a non-dimmable driver and must be wired to a standard on/off switch. Connecting it to a dimmer circuit may cause flickering or driver failure.

What brightness does 1080lm provide?

1080 lumens from a 12W LED is roughly equivalent to a 75W incandescent bulb. The 120° beam angle spreads this across a wide area, so it provides general ambient light rather than focused task lighting.

Can it be used in bathrooms?
