Description

The Bora is an 18cm hexagonal LED wall light with an integrated 12W LED delivering 1080 lumens of 3000K warm white light through a matt white acrylic diffuser. The hexagonal profile measures 180mm point-to-point and projects 40mm from the wall when flush-fitted, creating a clean geometric presence against the mounting surface.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, living rooms and commercial corridors where ambient wall light is needed without a protruding shade or arm, the Bora works well as a single fitting beside a doorway or mirror, or in multiples spaced evenly along a passage. The 1080lm output gives enough brightness for a 2-3m hallway section or a reading corner beside a bed. The flush-fit design means no light is lost to an outward-facing shade, so all 1080lm are directed forward and sideways into the room.

The matt white finish on the front panel diffuses the LED strip evenly across the hexagonal face, preventing hotspots and giving an even glow with no visible individual diode points. The non-dimmable LED runs on 100-240V, making it suitable for UK and international voltage installations. At 0.6kg the fitting is light enough to mount on plasterboard with standard wall plugs and screws, and the 40mm projection keeps it clear of furniture pushed against walls.

Is the Bora dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and runs at a fixed 12W output on 100-240V mains.

What brightness does 1080lm provide?

1080 lumens at 3000K is roughly equivalent to a traditional 75W incandescent bulb. This is enough to light a 2-3m hallway section or provide ambient reading light beside a bed or armchair.

Can it be installed in bathrooms?

The Bora carries no IP rating in the specification, so it is designed for dry indoor locations only. It is not suitable for bathrooms unless installed well outside splash zones and with appropriate ventilation.

How is it fitted to the wall?

The Bora is a flush-fit wall light designed to be wired directly into the mains supply behind the mounting plate. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician. At 0.6kg it can be mounted on plasterboard with standard wall plugs and screws.
