Description

The Bora is a 13cm square LED wall light with an integrated 6W warm-white LED and a silver-painted metal faceplate. The fitting sits flush against the wall with a 40mm projection, creating a low-profile architectural accent that casts 540 lumens of 3000K light across the wall surface and into the room. The LED is housed behind a diffuser that spreads the beam at 120 degrees, softening shadows and giving ambient rather than directional light.

Designed for hallways, landings, bedroom accent walls and living room feature surfaces, the Bora works as a single fixture or in multiples to create geometric patterns along a corridor or around a doorway. The 13cm footprint suits alcove lighting, stairwell illumination and spaces where a larger wall light would dominate. The flush-mount design means the fitting can be installed in narrower corridors and beside doorframes without creating a hazard from projection.

The silver-painted finish gives a cool metallic tone that pairs with grey, white and industrial-styled interiors. The paint reflects ambient daylight without creating glare, and the 40mm depth keeps the profile minimal once installed. The 6W power draw makes the Bora suitable for supplementary lighting rather than primary room illumination. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and rated for 100-240V mains, compatible with UK and international installations.

Frequently Asked

Is the Bora dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is rated at 6W and operates at fixed brightness on 100-240V mains. It is not compatible with dimmer switches.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

The Bora is designed for dry indoor locations only. It should not be installed in bathrooms, shower rooms or other wet or high-humidity environments.

How is it mounted?

The fitting is flush-mounted to the wall using a rear fixing plate. The electrical connection is made within the wall cavity, and the faceplate then fixes to the plate with concealed screws. A qualified electrician should carry out the installation.

Is 540lm enough for a hallway?

The 540lm output suits accent lighting, alcove illumination and supplementary light in hallways and corridors. For primary hallway lighting we suggest installing multiple Bora fittings spaced 2-3m apart, or combine them with a ceiling fitting.
