Description

The Bora is a 13.5cm diameter round LED wall light with an integrated 6W LED producing 540 lumens of 2700K warm white light. The matt white polycarbonate diffuser sits 38mm from the wall on a flush-mounted base, distributing light evenly across a 120° beam angle without creating harsh shadows or hotspots.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, landings and bathroom zones outside the regulated splash areas, the Bora provides low-level ambient light that sits below eye level without glare. The 540lm output is comparable to a traditional 40W incandescent bulb, giving enough light to navigate a corridor or illuminate a bedroom wall without overwhelming the space. The flush-mounted profile keeps the fitting close to the wall, making it suitable for narrower hallways where a projecting wall light would obstruct movement.

The matt white finish gives a clean neutral appearance that blends with white or light-coloured walls and ceilings, or provides a subtle contrast against darker wall tones. The polycarbonate diffuser hides the LED module from direct view while allowing the warm 2700K light to glow through the material. At 0.4kg the fitting mounts to standard plasterboard walls with appropriate fixings.

The LED is rated for 100-240V supply, making the fitting compatible with UK mains without requiring a separate driver beyond what's integrated into the unit. The 6W power draw keeps running costs low over the 3-year warranty period.

No. The integrated LED runs at a fixed 6W output and is not compatible with dimmer switches.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

The Bora does not carry an IP rating, so it is only suitable for bathroom zones outside the regulated splash areas (typically Zone 3 and beyond, more than 60cm from water sources). For zones closer to showers or baths, an IP44 or higher rated fitting is required.

What's the light output equivalent to?

The 540lm output at 2700K is comparable to a traditional 40W incandescent bulb or a 6-8W LED bulb in a standard E27 fitting. This provides ambient corridor or bedroom lighting rather than task lighting.
