Description

The Bora is a 135mm oval LED wall light with an integrated 6W LED producing 540 lumens at 3000K warm white. The matt black metal body measures just 35mm in projection from the wall, giving a low-profile flush-mounted appearance suited to narrow hallways, bedside positions and rooms where deeper fittings would protrude into circulation space.

Designed for ambient and accent lighting rather than task illumination, the Bora works in bedrooms as paired reading lights flanking a headboard, in hallways to mark doorways or architectural features, and in living rooms where wall washing creates depth without ceiling clutter. The 120° beam angle spreads light across a 2-3m section of wall, with the oval aperture directing more of the output horizontally than vertically.

The matt black finish absorbs rather than reflects surrounding light, so the fitting reads as a dark surface by day and a source of warm glow after dark. The powder-coated metal construction weighs 400g and fixes directly to a standard UK back box or masonry fixing, with the cable entering from the rear of the body. The non-dimmable LED driver is integrated within the fitting, so no external transformer or control gear is needed.

Mantra manufactures the Bora in Spain using powder-coated aluminium and an LED module rated for 25,000 hours of operation. The 6W power draw equates to approximately £1.50 per year in electricity at typical UK residential use patterns and current energy pricing.
