Description

The Bongosi candle holder is a pedestal piece in aluminium, finished in a glossy beige with a gold-lined bowl at the top. The rounded bowl sits on a gently tapering column, and inside it a wide, flat gold dish gives your candle a level place to stand. It is 19.5cm high and 11cm in diameter, so it fits comfortably on a mantelpiece, a shelf or a dining table without crowding it. Towards the base the beige softens into a pale, clouded pattern, which gives the column a little depth under the gloss.

As a piece of home decor it belongs indoors, and it suits any room where you want a warm point of candlelight: the living room, the dining room, a bedroom or a hallway console. The beige is a soft neutral that sits easily with natural wood, linen and stone, while the gold lining catches the flame and gives back a little extra glow. On its own it gives a bare shelf a focal point; set as a pair, it gives a dining table some height and balance. It also makes a thoughtful gift for someone who loves candles but not clutter.

The holder is made from aluminium, which keeps it easy to move at 0.6KG, and aluminium does not rust.
