Description

The Bohemia is a vintage style rug in a navy and multi colourway, built around a large central medallion in pale blue and soft pink, set on a deep blue field scattered with small floral motifs. Brick red and pink corners frame the medallion, and a wide border of repeating floral and geometric motifs in cream, gold and blue runs around the edge. The colours have a gently faded, worn-in look that gives the design its traditional character. It is machine woven entirely from polyester, with the pattern transfer printed onto a soft pile that feels comfortable underfoot.

It is made for the living room, where its blues and pinks work happily with neutral furnishings and wooden or pale floors. The 120 by 170cm rug works well in front of a sofa or armchair in a smaller room, while the 160 by 230cm and 200 by 290cm sizes are generous enough to sit under a coffee table with the front feet of the sofa resting on the border.
