Description

The Blues is a tripod floor lamp from Ideal Lux with three natural wood legs supporting a 480mm white fabric shade and a single E27 bulb fitting. The wood legs are left in a natural light finish, and the fabric shade diffuses light evenly across a room without harsh shadows or glare.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and home offices where ambient lighting is needed without ceiling fittings, the Blues pairs a tall vertical profile with a moderate footprint. The tripod stance spreads across approximately 600mm at floor level, giving stability on rugs and bare floors without requiring wall fixing. The white fabric shade softens direct bulb light and works as both task lighting when placed beside a sofa or reading chair, and as room-wide ambient lighting when fitted with a higher-wattage LED bulb.

The natural wood grain varies between individual lamps depending on the batch of timber used in production, so no two Blues lamps look identical. The wood is sealed but not lacquered heavily, keeping a tactile, matte surface that resists fingerprints and dust better than high-gloss finishes. The lamp accepts any E27 LED, halogen or filament bulb up to 60W (sold separately), and is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only.
