Description

Blocks is a modern rug in our Sage Green colourway, and its pattern does just what the name suggests. Rectangular blocks sit side by side across the whole rug, most of them filled with short stripes of cream and a soft, greyish sage green, some running across and some running lengthways, with the odd solid block of colour in between. The stripes have slightly uneven, brushed edges, which keeps the geometric layout relaxed rather than rigid. Up close it is all pattern; from across the room it settles into a calm, pale wash of colour.

The sage and cream palette sits easily with pale wood floors, white walls and green accents, so it suits a living room, a reading corner or a bedroom where you want pattern without heavy colour. It comes in three sizes. The 80 by 150cm rug sits nicely beside a bed or in front of a chair. The 120 by 170cm size anchors a coffee table and a pair of chairs, and the 160 by 230cm rug is large enough to sit under the front of a sofa, or under the lower part of a double bed.
