Blocks is a modern rug in grey and cream, made up of a patchwork of softly irregular stripes. Each block holds a set of grey lines running either across or along the rug, and the direction switches from one block to the next, so the surface reads like a loose chequerboard. Small squares of plain cream sit between the blocks and give the design room to breathe. The grey has a gently flecked look against the cream ground, which keeps the pattern light rather than stark, and there is no border, so the blocks run right to the neat, straight edges.

It is a natural fit for a modern living room, and its quiet grey and cream colours sit comfortably with pale wooden floors and neutral schemes. We sell it in three rectangular sizes.
