How is it installed?

The Blazewood requires a recessed ground box to be set into the substrate (concrete, paving base or decking frame) before the surface is finished. The faceplate then screws onto the box, sitting flush with the final surface level. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician and must comply with UK outdoor wiring regulations.

Can it be walked over?

Yes, the metal faceplate is designed to support foot traffic when properly installed flush with the ground. Avoid driving vehicles over the fitting unless it is specifically rated for drive-over loading (check with Ideal Lux technical data for load ratings).
