Description

The Belfry is a single-light wall light with a wrought iron frame finished in matt black, featuring a curved bracket with a twisted mid-section and decorative daisy motifs on both the backplate and the stem finial. The fitting holds one E14 candle bulb (sold separately) in a shallow cup-style drip tray, positioned on a curved arm that extends approximately 250mm from the wall.

Designed for hallways, staircases, dining rooms and bedrooms where traditional or medieval-influenced detailing is wanted, the Belfry provides accent lighting rather than primary room illumination. The single candle bulb casts light upwards and outwards, creating a soft wash on adjacent walls and ceilings. The black iron finish suits stone, exposed brick, oak panelling and cream or neutral plaster walls, and the wrought detailing pairs with other period metalwork including door furniture and curtain poles.

The twisted bar section and daisy motifs are individually forged and assembled, giving each fitting slight variations in the handworked detail. The iron is sealed with a black powder coat that resists surface wear and fingerprints. The backplate diameter is approximately 100mm and the total projection from wall to the end of the drip tray is approximately 250mm. The fitting weighs around 0.8kg and mounts to a standard UK wall box or surface fixing points.
