Description

The Belcreda is a half-moon outdoor wall light with a built-in motion sensor, cast in aluminium and finished in anthracite, a deep charcoal grey. A white plastic diffuser sits within the curved body and softens the light. It measures 33cm long and 12.5cm high, and it stands 16.5cm out from the wall. The light source is an integrated LED of 9W giving 1,200lm at 3000K, a warm white, and with the LED built into the body there is no separate bulb to buy. It is rated IP44, which means it is protected from splashing water, so it can live outdoors on a house wall.

We would put it beside a front door, a back door, a side passage or the wall above a garage door, anywhere you want light the moment you arrive without reaching for a switch. Two sensors share the work: a dusk-to-dawn sensor that reacts to daylight and darkness, and a motion sensor that brings the light up as someone approaches. That suits anyone coming home late with shopping or keys in hand, and it means the path is lit only while it is needed.
