Belaro Travertine Dome Pendant Light - Walnut & Light Beige

The Belaro is a 150mm dome pendant light built from three contrasting materials: a light beige travertine shade, a dark walnut wood cap, and a frosted glass globe diffuser that sits beneath the stone. A single G9 lamp inside the globe casts warm light downward and outward, with the travertine dome framing the upper half of the glow. The fitting suspends on a slim brown braided cable from a small black ceiling fixing.

The compact 180mm height and 150mm diameter make Belaro suited to clustered installations above kitchen islands, bedside positions hung in pairs, or single use over a console table or breakfast bar. Multiple units can be hung at staggered drops to spread light across a longer worktop, or used as a single accent above a 600-900mm bedside table. The G9 socket accepts a standard capsule LED (sold separately).

Each travertine dome retains the natural pores, mineral flecks and tonal banding of the stone, so no two shades match exactly. The matte stone surface contrasts with the polished walnut cap above and the smooth frosted glass below, giving the fitting a layered look despite its small footprint. The walnut cap shows visible grain and sits as a warm transition between the brown fabric cable and the pale stone.

What bulb does it take?

The Belaro takes a single G9 capsule bulb, sold separately. A warm-white LED of around 2700K-3000K pairs well with the natural travertine and walnut tones, and the frosted glass globe softens the output into a diffused glow.

Does the travertine vary between pieces?

Yes. Travertine is a natural stone with visible pores, mineral flecks and tonal banding. Each dome is cut from a different section of stone, so the veining and colour variation will differ slightly from piece to piece. This is a feature of the material rather than a defect.

Can multiple Belaros be hung together?

The compact 150mm diameter makes Belaro well suited to grouped installations. Two or three units hung at staggered drops above a kitchen island or breakfast bar work well, and a pair hung either side of a bed can replace bedside table lamps.

How is the travertine cleaned?

Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners, as travertine is porous and can absorb liquids.
