Three E27 screw-fit lamps, up to 20W each. An LED GLS A60 in a warm white is the sensible choice here. Lamps are supplied separately.

Can it be dimmed?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable lamps and a dimmer suited to them. No dimmer is supplied with the fitting.

How low will it hang?

The drop ranges from 405mm at its shortest to 3330mm at its longest, which gives plenty of scope over a stairwell or a tall hallway.

What is the diffuser made from?

Frosted acrylic with an antique brass trim. Clean it with a barely damp cloth and dry it straight away; avoid abrasive creams and solvent cleaners, which will haze the surface.

Is the gold on the inside or the outside?

The gold leaf is the outer face of the shade, with a white laminate lining behind it to keep the light output clean.
