Description
Basket Weave Planks are white 3D wall panels in PVC, each a 50cm square, shaped as four wide planks running across almost its full width. The second and fourth planks stand further forward, with softly rounded corners, while the recesses between them curve and taper, swelling in the middle or at the ends. The relief is 26mm deep, enough for the planks to read clearly and for each curved recess to hold a band of shadow. Laid all one way the planks form long horizontal lines; turn alternate panels through a quarter turn and they build a basket weave across the wall.
These suit interior feature walls in homes, offices, hotels and shops: behind a bed, sofa or reception desk, along a hallway, or on the wall a shop wants noticed first. The geometric pattern is calm head on and comes alive as light falls across it. Side light from a window or a wall washer catches the raised edges and deepens the curved recesses, so the planks look more pronounced through the day and into the evening. Under even overhead light the effect is gentler, a quiet white texture that sits happily beside wood, stone and plain walls.
Each panel is formed from a 0.8mm PVC sheet. To fit one, spread adhesive on its back and press it onto the wall; panels cut to fit, and the joins are filled with filler and wiped clean, with no special equipment needed. Adhesive and filler are sold separately. Four panels cover one square metre, which makes working out how many a wall needs easy. PVC is waterproof and low maintenance, so a wipe with a damp cloth keeps the relief looking fresh. Run them from floor to ceiling on one wall and keep the furniture in front simple, so the shadows have room to show.

Frequently Asked
What does the Basket Weave Planks pattern look like?
Four wide planks run across each panel, with the second and fourth standing further forward and the curved recesses between them tapering and swelling. Turned alternately, the panels make a basket weave.
How big is each panel and how many will I need?
Each panel is a 50 x 50cm square, and four of them cover one square metre, so you can work out a total from your own wall measurements.
How are the panels fixed to the wall?
Spread adhesive across the back of each panel, press it onto the wall and cut panels to fit at the edges. Fill the joins with filler and wipe them clean; no special equipment is needed.
Do the panels come with adhesive and filler?
No. Neither the adhesive nor the filler comes with the panels, so you will need to buy both on their own and have them ready before you start fitting.
Where can I use these 3D wall panels?
They are made for interior walls in homes, offices, hotels and shops, and they work especially well on a feature wall where light falls across the relief.
How do I keep the panels clean?
The PVC is waterproof and low maintenance, so a wipe with a damp cloth is all the panels need to keep their white planks looking fresh.
