Description

The Basis is a 304mm linear LED track light designed for Maytoni's magnetic Exility track system, delivering 12W of integrated 4000K LED light through a white aluminium body. The fitting clips magnetically onto the track rail without tools, allowing repositioning along the track length to adjust light placement as room layouts change. The 4000K colour temperature provides neutral-white light suited to task areas, retail displays and workspaces where colour accuracy matters.

Designed for commercial interiors, home offices, kitchens and gallery spaces, the Basis works on 48V DC magnetic track systems where multiple fittings can be positioned and moved without re-wiring. The low-profile 44mm height and 22mm width keep the fitting visually minimal when mounted on ceiling or wall-mounted track. The linear LED array spreads light along the 304mm length rather than concentrating it in a single spot, reducing hard shadows under the fitting.

The white aluminium construction provides heat dissipation for the integrated LED while keeping the fitting lightweight at under 200g. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor environments — it is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor canopies or high-humidity areas. The magnetic connection to the Exility track supplies both power and mechanical fixing, so the fitting can be removed and repositioned by hand without switching off the circuit.
