Description

The Basis is a 30cm linear LED track light designed for Maytoni's Magnetic Exility low-voltage track system. The fitting houses a 12W integrated LED running at 3000K colour temperature, delivering warm white light through a linear diffuser. The aluminium body is finished in matt black and measures 30.4cm long by 2.2cm wide by 4.4cm high, giving a narrow linear profile that sits close to the track rail.

The Basis operates on DC 48V low-voltage power supplied through the magnetic track, so no separate driver or external power supply is needed at the fitting itself. The magnetic mounting allows the light to be repositioned anywhere along the track rail without tools, making it suited to modular lighting in kitchens, retail spaces, galleries and offices where task or accent lighting needs to be reconfigured over time. The linear format works for lighting worktops, shelving runs, or feature walls where a continuous light line is needed.

The IP20 rating limits the Basis to dry indoor locations. The aluminium construction keeps the weight down while maintaining rigidity along the 30cm length. No. The Basis is designed exclusively for Maytoni's Magnetic Exility low-voltage track system, which runs on DC 48V. It will not fit or operate on standard 240V single-circuit or three-circuit track rails.

Can the light be repositioned once installed?

Yes. The magnetic mounting allows the Basis to be moved along the track rail without tools. This makes it suited to spaces where lighting layout needs to change over time, such as retail displays or reconfigurable office zones.

What is the light output in lumens?
