Description

The Basis CCT is a 304mm linear track light designed for Maytoni's Magnetic Exility track system, housing a 12W integrated LED with adjustable colour temperature from 2700K warm white to 6000K cool white. The LED output and colour temperature are controlled via Bluetooth Mesh from a smartphone, allowing remote adjustment without wall switches or physical dimmers. The light runs on DC 48V supplied by the track system.

Designed for task lighting in kitchens, work surfaces, retail displays and office environments, the Basis CCT mounts magnetically onto the Exility track rail and can be repositioned without tools. The 304mm length provides focused linear illumination along worktops, shelving runs or wall-mounted artwork. The white aluminium housing suits minimalist and contemporary interiors where the track system itself is intended to remain visible rather than concealed.

The aluminium construction includes heat-sinking fins visible on the upper surface of the housing, managing thermal load from the 12W LED without requiring active cooling. The IP20 rating limits this fitting to indoor dry environments — not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor use. Maytoni provides a 5-year warranty on the fitting and integrated LED. The Basis CCT requires the Magnetic Exility track system and compatible DC 48V driver (sold separately) to operate.

What track system does the Basis CCT require?

This light is designed exclusively for Maytoni's Magnetic Exility track system. It will not fit standard three-circuit track rails or other manufacturers' magnetic track systems. The Exility track and compatible DC 48V driver are sold separately.

How is the colour temperature and dimming controlled?

Both colour temperature (2700K to 6000K) and dimming are controlled via Bluetooth Mesh using a smartphone app. There are no physical switches or knobs on the fitting itself. A compatible Bluetooth Mesh controller is required.

Can the light be repositioned once fitted?

Yes. The Basis CCT attaches magnetically to the Exility track rail and can be slid along the track or removed and repositioned without tools. This allows reconfiguration of the lighting layout as room use changes.

Is it suitable for bathroom use?

No. The IP20 rating limits this fitting to indoor dry environments only. It cannot be used in bathrooms, wet rooms, or any location where moisture or direct water contact is expected.
