Description

The Basis is a 330mm LED linear track light designed for Maytoni's Radity magnetic track system, housing an integrated 16W LED module that emits 3000K warm white light through an elongated aluminium diffuser finished in matt black. The fitting clips magnetically onto the Radity track without visible fixings, drawing DC 48V power directly from the track conductor.

Designed for kitchens, retail displays, galleries and hospitality settings where flexible linear lighting is needed without ceiling penetration, the Basis can be repositioned along the track length and angled within the track's mounting tolerance. The 100-degree beam angle provides wide coverage along worktops, wall displays or corridor runs. The magnetic attachment means fittings can be added, removed or repositioned during installation or later reconfiguration without tools.

The aluminium construction and matt black powder-coat finish give the fitting a 28mm profile that sits close to the track, minimising visual bulk when used in runs of multiple fittings. The 3000K colour temperature pairs with warm interior palettes and incandescent-replacement schemes, while the high CRI (colour rendering index) preserves accurate colour representation in retail and display contexts. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor environments.

No. The Basis requires Maytoni's Radity magnetic track system, which operates on DC 48V. It will not fit or function on standard mains-voltage track systems from other manufacturers.

Can the fitting be repositioned once installed?

Yes. The magnetic attachment allows the fitting to be slid along the track and repositioned without tools. This is useful for reconfiguring lighting layouts or adding fittings to an existing track run.

What is the beam angle?

The Basis provides a 100-degree beam angle, giving wide coverage suitable for worktop lighting, display shelving and corridor runs where broad, even illumination is needed.

Is it suitable for bathroom use?
