The Basis is a 330mm linear LED track light designed for Maytoni's Radity magnetic track system, delivering 16W of 4000K neutral white light through a white aluminium housing. The fitting mounts directly onto the magnetic track via an integrated connector at the rear, allowing it to be positioned anywhere along the track run without additional wiring or tools once the track is powered.

Designed for retail, commercial and residential spaces where flexible directional lighting is needed, the Basis suits gallery walls, kitchen islands, retail displays and home office ceilings. Can this be used on standard track lighting systems?

No. The Basis is designed specifically for Maytoni's Radity magnetic track system and operates at DC 48V. It will not fit or operate on traditional single-circuit or three-circuit track systems that run at mains voltage.

How is the light positioned along the track?

The Basis attaches to the magnetic track via an integrated connector at the rear. Once the track is powered, the fitting can be slid along the track and repositioned without tools or re-wiring. The magnetic connection holds it securely in place.

What's the beam pattern?

The 330mm linear form provides a wide wash of light along its length rather than a concentrated spot. This makes it suitable for illuminating worktops, shelving runs, or long wall surfaces where even coverage is needed.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the driver powering the Radity track system. If a compatible dimmable driver is used and paired with an appropriate dimmer switch, the Basis can be dimmed. Consult the Radity track system documentation for driver compatibility.
