We have kept the shape classic and pear-like, an A60 form with a screw cap that fits the fittings most of us already own. The opal surface diffuses the light rather than leaving the filament exposed, so the glow reads gentle instead of glaring. At 6cm in diameter and 10.8cm tall, it sits neatly within a shade or an open fitting without crowding the space around it.
