The Basic Form is a 15cm globe pendant light with a dual-layer glass shade — a clear outer sphere encasing a frosted inner globe — suspended on a gold-finished metal stem and ceiling rose. A single G9 bulb (sold separately, max 20W) sits inside the frosted inner globe, casting soft diffused light through the frosted layer while the clear outer globe adds depth and a secondary reflection plane.

Designed for kitchens, hallways, entrance areas and compact dining spaces where a single overhead fitting provides both task and ambient light, the Basic Form works in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. The drop is adjustable between 54cm and 334cm on installation, allowing the pendant to be set at worktop height over a kitchen island (typically 60-75cm above the surface) or higher in a hallway. The 15cm globe diameter keeps the fitting compact enough for narrower corridors and smaller room volumes without appearing undersized.
