Description

The Basic Form is a 15cm frosted white glass globe pendant light suspended from a matt black metal canopy on an adjustable cable. A single E14 bulb inside the globe (sold separately) diffuses through the frosted glass to provide soft ambient light without glare. The metal canopy, cable sleeve and upper rod are all finished in matt black, creating a defined contrast against the white globe.

Designed for kitchens, dining areas, hallways and bedrooms where downward or omni-directional ambient light is needed, the Basic Form works as a single pendant over a breakfast bar or side table, or in groups of two or three over dining tables and kitchen islands. The adjustable drop ranges from 35cm minimum to 212.5cm maximum, allowing the pendant to be set at the correct height for the ceiling and the surface below. For dining tables the typical install height is 70-80cm above the table surface; for kitchen islands 75-90cm above the worktop.

The frosted glass globe is smooth, unadorned and spherical, giving a mid-century or minimalist character that pairs well with Scandinavian, industrial and contemporary interiors. The matt black finish on the metal components absorbs light rather than reflecting it, keeping visual focus on the glowing globe. The E14 (small Edison screw) bulb base accepts most standard LED, halogen and filament bulbs up to 40W, giving flexibility to choose the colour temperature and brightness that suits the room. The IP20 rating confirms the pendant is for dry indoor use only.
