Description

This is a small switched wall light in champagne gold, a warm brassy tone that reads softer than polished brass. It arrives without a shade, so the shade is yours to choose, and the plain arm and socket are neat enough to leave open with a decorative candle lamp. A rocker switch sits on the body, so the light is turned on and off at the fitting rather than from across the room. At 11cm wide it keeps a narrow footprint on the wall.

It is one we reach for beside a bed, along a hallway, or in an alcove where a table lamp would take up space that is not there. The switch on the fitting earns its place in guest rooms and on landings, where nobody wants to hunt for a wall switch in the dark. We would fit a slim LED candle lamp, which suits the scale of the fitting and keeps running costs low; the E14 socket will take up to 20W.
