Bano Large LED Crystal Chain Wall Light - French Gold

The Bano Large is a 700mm LED crystal chain wall light with cascading strands of faceted crystal droplets suspended from a French gold linear frame. An integrated 12W LED strip runs behind the gold backplate, casting light through the layered crystal chains to create a waterfall of reflected and refracted illumination. The fitting projects 90mm from the wall and carries a 3-year warranty from Diyas Lighting.

Designed for formal living rooms, above headboards in master bedrooms, and hallway feature walls with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Bano Large provides both ambient and decorative lighting. The 1460lm output at 4000K cool white gives enough brightness to light a 4-5m wall run, while the dimmable LED allows the intensity to be lowered for evening ambience when paired with a suitable trailing-edge dimmer. The crystal droplets are double-layered, creating depth when viewed from any angle.

The French gold finish is a warm yellow-gold tone that pairs with brass hardware, warm timber and traditional interiors. The faceted crystal beads are strung on fine wires in staggered lengths, so the chains hang vertically without tangling and catch light from both the internal LED and any ambient room light. At 2.45kg the fitting requires solid wall fixings into masonry or timber studs rather than plasterboard alone. The 700mm width suits walls of 1.2m or wider where the fitting can be centred without dominating the space.

The integrated LED is rated at 13.5W power consumption with a 120° beam angle, directing light downward and outward through the crystal rather than directly into the room. The cool white 4000K temperature produces a clean, neutral light that shows true colour rendering without the yellow cast of traditional warm-white bulbs. Is the Bano Large dimmable?

Yes. The integrated LED is dimmable when paired with a suitable trailing-edge LED dimmer. Not all dimmers are compatible with LED fittings, so verify compatibility before purchase or contact us for dimmer recommendations.

What wall fixings are needed?

At 2.45kg the fitting requires solid wall fixings into masonry (brick, concrete block) or timber studs. Plasterboard fixings alone will not provide adequate support. The mounting bracket is supplied with the fitting but wall plugs and screws are not included.

Can the crystal chains be removed for cleaning?

The crystal droplets are strung on fixed wires and cannot be easily removed without disassembly. For routine cleaning, switch off the power and wipe each crystal strand gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For deeper cleaning a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the gold backplate or wiring connections.

What colour temperature is the LED?

The integrated LED is 4000K cool white, which produces a clean neutral light without the warm yellow cast of 2700K-3000K bulbs. This colour temperature shows true colour rendering and pairs well with contemporary and transitional interiors.
