Description
The Bangkok is a 40cm pendant light built from a hemisphere of grey-tinted glass suspended on a black metal rod, with three stacked glass spheres above the shade forming the central decorative element. An integrated 12W 3000K LED sits inside the shade, casting warm light downward through the grey glass, which softens the output and reduces glare.
Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls, the Bangkok suits ceilings between 2.4m and 3.5m in height. The adjustable cable allows the pendant to be set anywhere between 67.9cm minimum and 358cm maximum drop, so it can be positioned 700-800mm above a dining surface or higher as ambient lighting in a double-height space. The 40cm shade diameter provides sufficient spread for a 1.2-1.6m table or a kitchen island end without overwhelming smaller rooms.
The grey glass mutes the LED brightness while maintaining colour rendering, making the pendant suitable for settings where softer, diffused light is preferred over direct downlighting. The black metal rod and canopy pair with the grey glass to create a tonal palette that works in monochrome, industrial and contemporary interiors. The three stacked glass spheres above the shade add sculptural interest when viewed from below, turning the pendant into a visual anchor point rather than just a functional fitting.
The IP20 rating restricts the Bangkok to dry indoor locations. The black metal finish shows fingerprints during handling but cleans easily with a microfibre cloth once installed. The grey glass shade can be wiped with a damp cloth to remove dust buildup.

Frequently Asked
Is the Bangkok dimmable?
The integrated 12W LED is fixed at 3000K and not dimmable. The light output is controlled by the on/off switch at the wall only.
What ceiling height does it require?
The adjustable cable allows the pendant to be set between 67.9cm and 358cm drop. For positioning over a dining table, a ceiling height of 2.4m or above is recommended to allow the shade to sit 700-800mm above the table surface. Higher ceilings can use the full 358cm extension.
Can multiple Bangkok pendants be installed together?
Yes. For longer dining tables or kitchen islands, multiple Bangkok pendants can be spaced 80-100cm apart on separate ceiling points. The black and grey palette remains consistent when grouped.
How is the grey glass shade cleaned?
The glass shade can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth to remove dust. For more stubborn marks, use a standard glass cleaner sprayed onto the cloth rather than directly onto the glass, to avoid drips running into the LED housing.
