The Balance is a table lamp built around a cantilever arm design, with a large cylindrical drum shade in matt black suspended from a polished brass horizontal arm that extends from a vertical brass stem on a circular matt black base. The shade measures approximately 335mm in diameter and houses a single E27 bulb (sold separately). The interior of the shade is finished in gold laminate, which reflects warm light back into the room and creates a bright pool of illumination beneath the fitting.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables in hallways, and desk positions where directional task lighting is needed, the lamp's cantilevered arm gives it architectural presence. The horizontal brass tube acts as both a structural element and a visual counterbalance to the weight of the shade, creating the geometric composition that gives the lamp its name.
