This four-tier gold cake stand is made from aluminium, with four round trays set on a central rod and getting wider towards the bottom. A ball finial sits at the top and a flared pedestal foot carries the whole stand at the base. It stands 70cm tall and measures 35cm in diameter, so it rises well clear of the table and gives you four levels of serving space in the footprint of a single large platter. Each tray has a raised rim, which helps keep cakes, scones and biscuits from sliding towards the edge.
