Description
The Averin is a 650mm vertical wall light built from two cylindrical natural Spanish alabaster columns joined at the centre by a brushed brass bracket. An integrated 10W LED runs at 3000K behind the stone, lighting the alabaster from within so the columns themselves become the diffuser. The brass centrepiece houses the wall fixing and conceals the driver, with rounded stone terminations finishing the top and bottom of the fitting.
At 650mm tall and 100mm wide with a 105mm projection from the wall, the Averin suits hallways, bedroom flanking positions either side of a bed, bathroom mirror sides (subject to zone restrictions, see below) and living room feature walls. Mounted as a single fitting it adds vertical emphasis to a section of wall; mounted in pairs symmetrically, it frames a mirror, headboard or piece of artwork. The slim 60mm stone diameter keeps the visual footprint narrow against larger wall surfaces.
Each alabaster column is cut from natural Spanish stone, so the veining and translucency vary between individual fittings and between the two columns of a single piece. When unlit, the stone reads as a soft white with subtle marbling. When lit, the warm 3000K LED brings out the internal mineral pattern, casting an even ambient glow up and down the wall without defined hotspots. The brushed brass bracket adds a warm metallic break between the two stone halves.

Frequently Asked
Does the Averin come with a bulb?
Yes. The Averin uses an integrated LED rated at 10W and 3000K running on 230V mains, so no separate bulb is needed. The LED is built into the fitting and is not user-replaceable.
Can it be installed in a bathroom?
The Specification tab does not list an IP rating for this fitting, so the Averin should be treated as a dry-location wall light unless an IP rating is confirmed. For UK bathrooms, fittings outside Zones 0, 1 and 2 may be acceptable, but please contact us before installing in any bathroom location to confirm suitability.
Will the two alabaster columns look identical?
No. Each column is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, marbling and translucency vary between the upper and lower stone and between individual fittings. This natural variation is a feature of the material rather than a defect.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe the stone gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid water, household sprays and chemical cleaners, which can mark or dull the surface. The brushed brass bracket can be wiped with a dry cloth to remove dust.
