Description

The AV:Link SH40VC is a pair of stereo headphones (or headset, if you use the US term) built for everyday listening at home or at your desk. In-line volume control sits on the cable, so you can turn the sound up or down without reaching for your device. The padded ear cups and adjustable headband help you find a comfortable fit, and both the headband and cups are easy to wipe clean.

Each ear cup uses a 40mm driver with a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz, covering the full range of most music and video. Sensitivity is rated at 95 ± 3dB at 1kHz and impedance is 32 Ohms, which suits phones, tablets, laptops and portable players. Power handling is 100mW. The cable measures 2.7m (±10%), giving you room to move around while it stays plugged in.

Connection is via a 3.5mm stereo jack, and a gold plated 3.5mm to 6.3mm (also called 1/4 inch) adaptor is included so you can also use the SH40VC with hi-fi amplifiers, mixers and instruments. The flexible ear cups and adjustable headband make these a practical choice for longer sessions, whether you are watching films, gaming or listening to music around the house.
