Description

This RJ11 modem lead connects your equipment over a 5.0m run, with a 6P4C plug on each end. It comes supplied with a UK BT431A telephone plug adaptor, so you can plug straight into a standard British phone socket without hunting for a converter. The lead is finished in black and arrives in a sealed retail bag.

The cable uses bare copper conductors for the connection, with an overall diameter of 4.3mm. Each conductor is built from 4 x 7 strands at 0.12mm, made from CCA (copper clad aluminium). The 5.0m length gives you room to position a modem or telephone away from the wall point, which helps when the socket sits in an awkward spot.

RJ11 is the common connector for modems and landline telephones, and the plug to plug design lets you link two RJ11 sockets directly. The included BT431A adaptor covers the older UK telephone plug format that many wall points still use, so the lead works with both newer RJ11 outlets and traditional BT sockets.
