Description

This AV:Link multimedia wallplate brings your VGA, USB Type-B and 4K HDMI connections together on a single 1-gang faceplate. It gives you a neat central point for connecting screens, projectors and computers, which helps keep a room tidy and clear of trailing cables. The plate suits domestic, commercial and educational settings, so it works just as well in a home office as it does in a classroom or meeting room.

The plate comes with its own sockets, cables and connectors, and the rear cables and connections mean you don't need to rewire anything behind the wall. You simply fit the faceplate (US: wall plate) and connect your kit at the front, then run the pre-wired leads to your devices. Fixing screws are included, so you have what you need to mount it. The HDMI socket handles a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 at 60Hz with up to 18Gbps of bandwidth, giving you full 4K support for compatible sources and displays.

The USB Type-B port runs on USB 2.0, useful for connecting peripherals or a computer, while VGA (US: VGA) covers older analogue video kit that's still common in offices and schools.
