Description

This is a standard high speed HDMI lead with Ethernet, wired plug to plug and measuring 10.0 metres. It carries video and audio over a single cable between devices such as a TV, set-top box, games console, soundbar or AV receiver. As an HDMI 1.4 lead it handles high definition video, and the built-in Ethernet channel lets compatible equipment share a network connection without a separate cable run.

The lead supports input and output protocols for the major 3D video formats, so it works with 3D-capable sources and displays. It also includes an Audio Return Channel (ARC), which sends audio back from your TV to a receiver or soundbar down the same cable. That removes the need for a separate audio lead when your kit supports ARC, keeping the connections behind your setup simpler.

The connectors are nickel plated, and the plug to plug design means a standard full-size HDMI (Type A) at each end. This 10 metre length suits longer runs, for example a projector mounted away from the source or a TV set apart from the equipment rack. Shorter versions of this lead come in a retail friendly sealed bag, though the 5m and 10m sizes are supplied without that packaging.
