Description
The AV:Link HDMV-41 takes up to four 4K HDMI inputs and shows them on a single 4K UHD display. Where many similar units downscale several inputs to a lower-resolution picture, this one keeps the full input resolution, so each feed holds its original detail. That matters most for CCTV work, where compressed multi-channel views can make important footage hard to read.
You get a choice of viewing modes to suit the job. Quad-view splits the screen into four equal panels, picture-in-picture keeps one main feed with a smaller inset, and full-screen shows a single source at a time. Switching between modes and inputs happens without a drop-out, and you can control everything from the front panel or the supplied IR remote (infrared handset). Setup is straightforward, with four HDMI inputs and a single HDMI output, plus an RS232 port for serial control.
The unit supports resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 30Hz, with LPCM2.0 audio and a maximum bandwidth of 340MHz. It is a compact box at 121 x 102 x 19mm and 220g, finished in brushed metal, so it sits neatly in a control room, surveillance setup, broadcast rack or any AV install that needs several feeds on one screen. A UK power adaptor is included in the box. The remote takes 2x AAA batteries, which are not supplied. Operating temperature runs from -10°C to +45°C.
