Description

The AV:Link EPS86-4:3 is an electric projector screen with an 86" diagonal in a 4:3 aspect ratio. It houses a built-in motor that raises and lowers the screen at the touch of a button, so you can set it up in a classroom, auditorium or place of worship without wrestling with a manual pull-down. The screen sits in a white steel case with mounting brackets on either end, giving you the option to fix it to a ceiling or a wall depending on your room.

Control is handled two ways. There's an in-line switch on a 1.5m lead running from the controller to the housing, plus an RF remote that works at 433.92MHz and comes with its LR23A battery supplied. A drop and retract distance limiter lets you set exactly how far the screen travels, and the low noise motor keeps things quiet during a presentation or film. A weighted bottom bar keeps the surface flat and stops it jamming in the case or curling at the edges.

The matt white surface has a gain of 1.1 and a 100° viewing angle, so the image stays readable from across a wide room. A 40mm black border frames the picture and helps define its edges. The screen material is flame retardant and mildew proof, which matters in shared spaces. This model runs on a 230Vac, 50Hz mains supply, and the mains cable entry is on the right hand side of the unit. The same range comes in 4:3 and 16:9 formats and various sizes to suit different installations.
