Description

The AV:Link EPS100-4:3 is a 100-inch electric projector screen in a 4:3 format, built for larger spaces such as classrooms, auditoriums and places of worship. The screen is housed in a white steel case with mounting brackets on each end, so you can fit it to a ceiling or a wall depending on your setup. A built-in electric motor lowers and raises the screen, and you control it either from the in-line switch or the RF remote, which is included. Please note that the mains cable enters on the right hand side of the unit, which is worth checking before you plan your installation.

The matt white screen surface has a gain of 1.1 and a viewing angle of 100 degrees, giving a clear picture across a wide seating area. A 40mm black border helps define the edges of the projected image, and a weighted bottom bar keeps the screen flat and stops it jamming or curling in the case. The material is flame retardant and mildew proof, so it holds up well in busy public rooms. An adjustable drop and retract distance limiter lets you set exactly how far the screen travels.

The motor runs quietly, so it will not compete with a presenter or a film soundtrack. Power is 230Vac at 50Hz, and both the plug-to-controller lead and the controller-to-housing lead measure 1.5m. The RF remote works at 433.92MHz and takes an LR23A battery, which is supplied. This model is part of a wider range of AV:Link electric screens available in both 4:3 and 16:9 formats and various sizes, so you can match the screen to your projector and room. Can I control the screen without the remote?

Yes. The screen comes with an in-line control switch as well as the RF remote, so you can raise and lower it either way.

How is the screen mounted?

The white steel case has mounting brackets on both ends, allowing you to fit it to a ceiling or a wall.

Which side does the mains cable enter?

The mains cable entry is on the right hand side of the unit, so plan your power supply and installation position accordingly.

Is a battery included for the remote?

Yes. The RF remote uses an LR23A battery and this is supplied with the screen.
