Description

This AV:Link coaxial flylead connects two F-type plug fittings and runs 4.0 metres between them. It is a standard patch lead for satellite receivers, cable boxes and similar equipment that use screw-on F connectors, giving you a straightforward way to join two points without splicing or adapters.

The cable itself has a 4.5mm outer diameter with a 0.5mm central core and 75 ohm impedance, which is the usual rating for domestic satellite and broadband coaxial work (coax in the UK, coax cable in the US). Screening comes from a 16 by 0.10mm braid that helps keep signal loss and interference down over the length of the run. Both ends terminate in F-type plugs, so you simply hand-tighten them onto matching sockets.

It arrives in a sealed retail bag, so it is ready to sit on a shelf or go straight into your kit box. We supply it as a plain, working lead for anyone setting up a satellite feed, extending a signal to another room or replacing a lead that has seen better days. If you need a shorter or longer run, the same lead is offered in other lengths across the range.
