Description

The AV:Link Cat6 inline coupler is a compact white junction box that joins two solid network cables end-to-end, extending cable runs or repairing cables cut too short during installation. The coupler accepts Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5 solid-core cables and provides punch-down terminations on both sides, with a colour-coded wiring diagram printed on the top of the housing.

Designed for fixed network installations in domestic, office and light commercial environments, the coupler suits situations where pre-terminated patch leads cannot reach or where a cable has been cut during building work and needs rejoining without replacing the entire run. The 63mm length and 26mm width allow the coupler to be surface-mounted or placed inside cable trunking, and it ships with cable ties for securing the incoming cables to the housing.

The top label shows the T568A and T568B wiring standards in colour, allowing installers to match the wire pairs from both incoming cables to the correct punch-down positions.
